Turns out we counted nine Fast Trackers at Harrisburg Marathon today on a chilly morning. Led by Keith Straw with a new PR of 3:13, the group were giving it there all. A few made made it more of a weekend by staying overnight and having a dinner in town while some drove up the morning of.
Hills from 18 - 20 made the course challenging to finish but kept the terrain varied. Running along the Susquehanna made for pretty views on a crisp Fall morning. This run is a definite consideration for a low key, well organized race. Nice race jackets were given to runners which numbered about 800. Not alot of crowd support but enthusiastic volunteers at all the water stops. Bunch of massage tables available for after race comfort which some of the Fast Trackers definitely took advantage of.
