RUNNING CLASS – THURS EVENINGS 7- 9
MARCH 27 THROUGH MAY 15
A program of individualized workouts (run or walk/run), classroom lectures, and runs with Fast Tracks running club will begin March 27th and continue on Thursday nights through May 15th. Workouts begin at 7 p.m. with a run on the grounds around Ellis Athletic Center -- individualized supervision by Joan Osborne.
After the run or run walk, on four nights from 8 to 9:00, lectures will be given at Ellis Athletic Center. Topics covered will include:
- March 27th : Proper Footwear and Technical Clothing by Joan Osborne, M.S. Exercise Physiologist
- April 3rd : Basics of Training by Joan Osborne, M.S.
Exercise Physiologist
- April 17th : Injury Prevention/cross training lecture by Glenn Venturini MPT, Optimum Physical Therapy
- April 24th : Sports Nutrition by Pattie Bucaccio, M.S. LDN, Registered Dietitian
Class participants are invited to run or run/walk with Fast Tracks Running Club on Saturday mornings at 8:00 at Valley Forge Park.
Program cost is $50.00. Race entry fee is $15.00.
